IT Cloud Server & Storage Platform Engineer

Job summary

The IT Cloud Server & Storage Platform Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, collaborating with development teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based applications and services. Key responsibilities include provisioning virtual machines and storage resources, developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and participating in incident response for cloud infrastructure. Experience with Azure, AWS, and related technologies is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT infrastructure experience
• 2+ years of Azure and/or AWS development experience
• Production support experience with large enterprise applications

Responsibilities

• Provision virtual machines and storage based resources in the cloud
• Provision backup and patch management of server based resources in the cloud
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing and provisioning cloud based resources
• Maintain and govern library for IaC shared modules
• Collaborate with on-premise infrastructure teams to align infrastructure standards
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis for cloud infrastructure
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support role on a rotating basis
