Job summary

Full-time IT DevOps Engineer responsible for communication, collaboration, integration, automation, and cooperation between software developers, Quality Assurance teams, and system administrators.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science or related field OR 3 years of work experience in a DevOps or System Administration position
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail
• Strong organization and planning abilities
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Pass required drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Design and automate application server environments
• Manage software product delivery release and deployment pipeline
• Provide guidance to improve software release process
• Document current systems using JIRA and Confluence
• Establish automated test scripts with Quality Assurance teams
• Implement load testing strategies for application deployment
• Adhere to change control concepts and practices
• Communicate post-release information to stakeholders
• Build monitoring tools for application deployment
• Provide 24x7 support on critical systems
