Job summary

The IT Infrastructure Engineer role is responsible for maintaining and supporting core infrastructure elements such as servers, storage, and networks, ensuring their availability and integrity. Key responsibilities include overseeing production platforms, managing networks and firewalls, providing 3rd Line Infrastructure support, and planning system upgrades within the IT roadmap.

Qualifications

• Methodical approach to problem analysis and problem solving
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Solid experience with Microsoft, networking, and IT hardware

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day support of all production platforms
• Responsible for the operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks
• Install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the operating environment
• Managing networks and firewalls, troubleshooting advanced network issues
• Responsible for new site installations, upgrades, and maintenance of remote site infrastructure
• Providing high-level 3rd Line Infrastructure support
• Take ownership of user problems and follow up on their status
