Job summary

The role manages and supports enterprise infrastructure to keep server, virtualization, cloud, storage, and network services reliable, secure, and available, working with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams. Responsibilities include administering Windows and Linux servers, VMware and Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Azure, and AWS; monitoring performance and availability; and carrying out backup, patching, disaster recovery, and datacenter support activities.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
• Solid working knowledge of virtualization platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V
• Proficiency with cloud platforms, with exposure to Azure and AWS
• Solid understanding of networking, firewall technologies, and datacenter operations
• Working knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and security practices
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows and Linux servers and the broader enterprise infrastructure
• Administer VMware and Hyper-V virtualization environments
• Monitor infrastructure availability and performance, and act on issues to keep services running smoothly
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and identity services, and support Azure and AWS cloud environments
• Carry out backup, patching, and disaster recovery activities
• providing onsite hands-and-feet support for datacenter operations, rack and stack, firewall and network infrastructure, and offshore teams
