Job summary
The IT Infrastructure Engineer - Data Center is tasked with deploying, configuring, and maintaining technology components within the data center environment. Responsibilities include ensuring network security, conducting system health checks, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business objectives using technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Experience building servers and maintaining rack elevation
- Experience with enterprise scale systems and High Availability Configurations
- Knowledge of Systems Configuration Management and Optimization Tuning
- Background in security-focused environments
- Experience with scripting and automation
- Knowledge of server hardware and data center electrical systems
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, support, and maintain data center technology components
- Develop or modify IT Infrastructure to meet business objectives
- Implement technical solutions and documentation for projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce requirements and recommend solutions
- Provide training and technical support for users
- Conduct system health checks and maintain network security
- Work on-call shifts and after hours as needed
- Monitor environmental conditions in the data center
- Organize data center equipment for accessibility
- Resolve operational and hardware incidents
