The position focuses on developing Ansible automation, managing Linux server operations, and maintaining platform tools and data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Linux administration, specifically Ubuntu.
  • Proficiency in Ansible, including reading, writing, and refactoring playbooks.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CheckMK and Graylog.
  • Familiarity with Git.
  • Willingness to perform hands-on hardware tasks in the data center, including server/storage lifecycle management, firmware updates, and disk replacement.
  • Basic knowledge of OpenStack (VM lifecycle, CLI, network configuration) is a plus.
  • Experience with containers and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Terraform/Infrastructure as Code is a plus.
  • Experience with Identity Providers such as Zitadel or Keycloak is a plus.
  • Experience with data center infrastructure (UPS, climate, power) is a plus.
  • Business fluent German language skills are a plus.
  • Initial experience with CI/CD is a plus.
  • Relevant professional experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously develop and maintain Ansible automation for new and existing systems.
  • Manage Linux base operations for servers and actively work with the OpenStack platform (VM lifecycle, snapshots, network configuration).
  • Operate platform tools such as CheckMK Monitoring and Graylog.
  • Monitor data center operations (power, UPS, climate) and perform hardware maintenance (server/storage lifecycle, firmware, disk replacement).
