The IT Infrastructure Engineer role involves the administration, operation, and maintenance of Windows Server systems and Active Directory, as well as managing Microsoft Entra ID. • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory, and knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• Proficient in group policies, DNS, DHCP, and permission structures, with an understanding of hybrid Microsoft environments and IT security
• PowerShell knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory
• Very good German (C1) and good English skills in the field
• Structured, analytical, and independent working style

Responsibilities

• Administration, operation, and maintenance of Windows Server systems
• Management and development of Active Directory, OUs, groups, and permissions
• Optimization and cleanup of group policies and administration of Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identities
• Support for Entra Connect, MFA, Conditional Access, and role models
• Operation and maintenance of central services like DNS, DHCP, file, and print services
• Monitoring of servers, domain controllers, replication, and system status, and implementation of security measures for servers, AD, and Entra ID
• Support for backup, recovery, migration, and modernization projects
• Documentation and standardization of infrastructure processes
