IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

Designs, supports, and improves enterprise datacenter and cloud infrastructure, leading hands-on projects across servers, virtualization, storage, automation, and disaster recovery. The role administers Windows and Linux servers and VMware and Nutanix environments, automates infrastructure with PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform, and manages backups, business continuity, and core directory and network services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Enterprise infrastructure experience across servers, virtualization, storage, and networking
• Experience with cloud architecture, automation, and platforms such as Azure
• Knowledge of SQL Server, VDI, and profile management tools such as FSLogix or DEM
• Ability to lead projects independently with a security-first approach

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy server, datacenter, and cloud solutions
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and VMware and Nutanix environments
• Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
• Manage enterprise storage, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and secure access
• Troubleshoot complex issues, maintain documentation, and share knowledge
