Job summary

Seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, implementation, and day-to-day management of scalable, global IT solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, Office 365 tenants, and tenant-to-tenant migrations. Ensure stable, secure operations, drive cloud initiatives, and deliver large-scale Microsoft tenant migrations with minimal disruption. This position demands a solid understanding of modern IT systems, cloud technologies, and M&A integration, along with a continuous-improvement mindset for operating complex technical environments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT infrastructure role.
  • Proven experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., Entra ID/Azure AD, virtual networks, storage, compute).
  • Demonstrable experience delivering Microsoft tenant-to-tenant migrations, including planning, execution, and post-migration optimization.
  • Strong technical background across Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficient with PowerShell for administration and automation.
  • Experience using ITSM and patching tools (Freshservice and Jira advantageous).
  • Track record of supporting M&A activities, including onboarding and integration.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor environments to maintain continuity of core business systems, including notification platforms.
  • Provide out-of-hours support and complete routine maintenance.
  • Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including configuring and deploying Azure services.
  • Administer Microsoft tenants.
  • Deliver end-to-end tenant-to-tenant migrations, covering planning, execution, validation, and post-migration optimization.
  • Minimize disruption to users during migrations.
  • Provide hands-on expertise across Azure and Microsoft technologies, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure networking, security best practice, and performance/availability optimization.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design secure, scalable infrastructure architectures for cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects, driving continuous improvement.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents and problems.
  • Ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of issues.
  • Support compliance and security requirements (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS) by applying appropriate controls.
  • Partner with the security team to strengthen risk management and data protection.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on system health and delivery progress.
  • Support M&A integration by onboarding acquired companies, including migration planning and technical delivery.
  • Support messaging and collaboration services (email, messaging, telephony), including security, storage, and archiving.
  • Provide end-user guidance and training for messaging and collaboration services.
