IT Infrastructure Engineer (RMA & Diag)

Job summary

Nebius is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve data center IT hardware issues and process RMAs. This role requires a technical expert with in-depth knowledge of system architecture and advanced troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data centers and server equipment
• Deep knowledge of IT hardware and practical troubleshooting experience
• Skills working with Unix/Linux operating systems and command line
• Experience with equipment monitoring, data analysis, and presentation
• Proactiveness and sense of responsibility
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Bonus: Skills in repairing electronics at the component level (SMD)
• Bonus: Knowledge of network equipment and troubleshooting
• Bonus: Driving license type B

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging firmware and hardware issues with servers, utilizing in-depth knowledge of system architecture and advanced troubleshooting
• Execute workarounds and solutions for IT hardware issues
• Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for L1 and L2 technicians
• Create new processes and documentation for the IT hardware team
• Collaborate with vendors on warranty replacements (RMA), create requests, and manage them
• Improve support processes, documentation, and training materials
