Job summary

Sterlington PLLC is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to enhance and modernize their cloud and infrastructure environment in a remote-first setting.

Qualifications

• Production-level experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience managing virtualization environments.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure and cloud projects across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Assist with Azure Virtual Desktop projects, including setup and troubleshooting.
• Improve device management processes using Microsoft Intune.
• Provide visibility into infrastructure costs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Produce documentation for infrastructure systems and processes.
• Deliver training to the IT support team.
• Propose improved ways of working within the technology team.
• Implement AI-driven tools and automation in infrastructure operations.
• Support deployment and monitoring of AI-powered applications.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Bicep or Terraform.
• Collaborate with the Security team on security policies and controls.
