Job summary

The Network Infrastructure Engineer designs, supports, and maintains network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, helping keep motorsport operations connected and secure. The role operates a predominantly Cisco-based enterprise network and covers monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, security, and infrastructure projects. Key technologies include LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless, routing and switching, BGP, OSPF, and Cisco platforms.

• Experience with enterprise campus and data center networks.
• Practical knowledge of BGP, OSPF, switching, LAN/WAN, wireless networking, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure and on-premises and cloud connectivity.
• Experience contributing to infrastructure projects, technology implementations, or network changes.
• Cisco software-defined networking experience with SDA and ACI, Cisco ISE, Firepower, and WLC is desired.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain complex network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, capacity, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to preventative actions.
• Carry out firmware upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and system optimization.
• Identify and implement improvements to network reliability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
• Support security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
• Plan, test, document, and implement network changes through change management.
• Support network and infrastructure projects, including implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge with the team.
