IT Operations Engineer - Cloud & Kubernetes (w/d/m)

Job summary

The cc Cloud GmbH, a subsidiary of codecentric AG, is seeking an IT Operations Engineer - Cloud & Kubernetes to join a dynamic team responsible for operating and optimizing various customer systems. This role involves ensuring stable operations, continuous improvement, automation, and working on modern IT system architectures. The engineer will also be involved in building, orchestrating, and operating containerized cloud-based applications, participating in exciting technology projects, and providing training and consulting to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High sense of responsibility and experience in operating productive systems and Kubernetes (e.g., Openshift, Rancher)
• Proficient in cloud-based architectures, ideally in both Public Clouds (e.g., OVHcloud, StackIT, IONOS, AWS) and Private Clouds (e.g., VMware vSphere, Nutanix, OpenStack)
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Formae to design efficient and automated IT processes
• Experience with automated deployments (e.g., GitLab-CI, Flux-CD) and seamless integration and management of Managed Services
• Proficient in Linux operating systems and programming skills (e.g., Python, Go)
• Utilizes AI tools and technologies in daily work to enhance efficiency, structure complex problems, or share knowledge
• Enjoys teamwork, possesses strong communication skills, and has negotiation-level German language skills
• Good English language skills
