• Knowledge of computer networking principles and best practices
• Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure
• Strong understanding of server administration
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• 5 years of technical support experience (required)
• Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident
• Valid BC Driver's License and a reliable vehicle (required)
• Located in the Langley or Surrey area
• 4 years of experience with firewalls and servers

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability
• Implement and manage cloud services using platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps practices and automate deployment processes
• Maintain network infrastructure, ensuring secure connections and efficient data flow
• Install, configure, and administer Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls
• Troubleshoot network issues including switches, firewalls, and access points
• Administer O365 and SharePoint
• Provide technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures
