Job summary

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will manage Edurino’s internal technical environment, ensuring the team has the necessary tools, access, and support. This role involves driving internal IT excellence, working closely with the Tech Director and other departments, and offering opportunities to learn DevOps and Cloud technologies. You will be responsible for the full operational ownership of internal IT and device infrastructure, coordinating on- and offboarding workflows, and acting as the primary technical point of contact.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience in network and IT systems administration, user support, or similar internal IT role
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment is ideal
  • Proven track record of managing a mixed corporate hardware fleet
  • Strong hands-on experience in macOS, Windows, and Linux administration
  • Solid experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
  • Experience with identity/access management tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Jira)
  • Ability to utilize AI tools and scripting for task automation, documentation, and workflow streamlining
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • User-first mindset with high empathy and patience when supporting non-technical departments
  • Solid understanding of core cybersecurity principles (MFA, access control, network security)
  • Proactive mindset toward implementing data protection measures
  • Fluent in English (C1+) with excellent communication skills
  • Eagerness to step into the DevOps space
  • Initial exposure to cloud environments (AWS/GCP) is a plus
  • Experience with version control via Git is a plus
  • Experience with building automation pipelines is a plus
  • First touchpoints with Terraform or containerization (Docker) are a plus
  • Conversational German (B1/B2) is a plus for local office vendor coordination

Responsibilities

  • Take operational ownership of internal IT and device infrastructure
  • Manage the lifecycle of staff devices (Mac, Windows, Linux)
  • Ensure devices are secure, up-to-date, and compliant
  • Coordinate and optimize technical on- and offboarding workflows
  • Ensure seamless platform access for new team members
  • Act as the technical point of contact for the internal team
  • Manage ticketing system
  • Resolve hardware, corporate software, and network issues (Tier-1 to Tier-3)
  • Maintain and monitor physical on-premise networks and local office infrastructure in Munich
  • Ensure high availability of office Wi-Fi, routers, and firewalls
  • Drive internal cybersecurity resilience
  • Execute routine system health checks
  • Manage automated data backups
  • Maintain compliance with data protection standards
  • Audit and optimize software license environment and internal access management
  • Monitor internal IT costs, compliance, and multi-factor authentication standards
  • Shadow Tech Director to learn DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure
  • Optimize and scale live backend environments using Terraform, GitOps, and Docker
