Job summary

The IT Systems Administrator & Software Developer will provide IT and administrative support across partner institutions and develop software to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of containerization and CI tools
• Scripting and task automation skills
• Web development skills
• Knowledge of networks and IT infrastructure
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac administration
• Experience with network storage products
• Experience with virtualization and remote server management
• Knowledge of cybersecurity
• Languages: French C1, English C1

Responsibilities

• Liaise with IT services to install and integrate a biomedical imaging data platform
• Develop and implement new features on the biomedical imaging platform
• Manage and monitor IT infrastructure
• Manage websites and applications
• Provide user support for infrastructure and resource booking system
• Ensure smooth operation of video-conferencing systems
• Evaluate and select software and IT equipment
• Manage permissions and user accounts
• Install and configure workstations and peripherals
• Maintain and troubleshoot IT equipment
• Set up and maintain backup policies for critical machines
• Implement enhanced security on servers and sensitive machines
• Create and deploy internal applications
