Job summary

The role of a Sr DevOps/Cloud Engineer focuses on providing expertise in the AWS cloud platform and supporting cloud environments for the Public Health domain. Key responsibilities include managing AWS resources, deploying and automating cloud-based systems, and ensuring the performance and security of applications, utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and various AWS services like Amazon EC2 and Amazon S3.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with federal/provincial/broader public-sector healthcare providers
• Knowledge and experience with Public Sector Health related projects
• 10+ years of experience in IT field
• 5+ years working experience of Unix/Linux operating systems like Solaris and Red-Hat
• 3+ years with administration of Kubernetes and Docker container solutions

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in AWS cloud platform
• Provide design, build and support for cloud environments to create solutions for Public Health domain
• Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment
• Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity
• Regularly review production logs, providing analysis & suggestions
• Provide detailed documentation for system design, integration, configuration, development and implementation
