Job summary
The ITSM DevOps Specialist with a focus on interfaces will design, develop, and operate interfaces between the ITSM tool and internal/external systems. This role involves analyzing requirements, ensuring stable data exchange, optimizing existing interfaces, and supporting the automation of ITSM processes through integration into existing system landscapes. The specialist will collaborate with various teams and document interfaces, data flows, and technical solutions.

Qualifications
- Completed IT-related education or degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) or comparable qualification.
- Experience in ITSM, DevOps, or Application Management, ideally with a focus on interfaces/integrations.
- Good knowledge of working with APIs (REST), data formats (JSON, XML), and integration patterns.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., BMC Helix, ServiceNow) and a basic understanding of IT architectures.
- Ideally, knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) and automation.
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate interfaces between the ITSM tool and internal/external systems.
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into sustainable integration solutions (e.g., via REST APIs, Webservices, Events).
- Ensure stable and performant data exchange between systems and continuously optimize existing interfaces.
- Support the automation of ITSM processes through integration into existing system landscapes.
- Collaborate closely with business departments, architecture, and development teams, providing advice on integration possibilities.
- Document interfaces, data flows, and technical solutions in a comprehensible and maintainable manner.
