Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering and 2+ years experience
• Experience in system design, application development, and operational stability
• Proficient in modern programming languages and database querying
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering
• Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tooling like Terraform

Responsibilities

• Execute software solution design, development, and troubleshooting for cloud-native payment services
• Write secure, high-quality code using Java and Kotlin with containerized deployments
• Leverage AI coding assist tools to enhance code quality and productivity
• Design and troubleshoot systems considering upstream and downstream dependencies
• Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Analyze large data sets to identify problems
• Integrate AI and machine learning models into payment services
