Job summary
Sopra Steria is seeking a Java DevOps Engineer to help teams grow in maturity and ensure the stability, reliability, and further development of software applications.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Operational Engineer
- Experience with DevOps/SRE principles, including on-call duties
- Knowledge of software design for Cloud native solutions
- Implementation of CI/CD Pipelines and Shift-Left principles
- Experience with Observability platforms
- Intrinsic motivation for continuous learning and obtaining certifications
- Knowledge or experience with AI applications is a plus
- Team-oriented experience (Scrum and Kanban)
- Positive mindset and solution-oriented attitude
- Ability to share knowledge and experience with enthusiasm
- At least Dutch at B1/B2 level
Responsibilities
- Help teams grow in maturity and ensure stability and reliability of software applications
- Implement new product features
- Adjust existing technology stack of a Java application for Kubernetes in Azure Cloud
- Ensure automated deployments by the team
- Monitor metrics with dashboards and alerts
- Resolve incidents and conduct RCA/Post mortems with improvement proposals
- Motivate teams to advance to the next maturity level in DevOps
