Job summary

JPM*** is seeking a Java Fullstack Software Engineer III to join their Commercial & Investment Bank Management and Support Functions Technology team in Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficiency in Java backend development using Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining front-end applications using React
• Demonstrated experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions across design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Create secure, high-quality production code
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and enhance responsive, user-facing web applications using React
• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications
• Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data
