Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Junior Cloud Architect to join their team. This role focuses on developing modern, standardized, and automated cloud architectures for clients across Europe. The successful candidate will contribute to infrastructure projects, support senior architects, and help evolve reusable architectural components.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in MINT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar field of study
• Initial practical experience in IT or in one of the following areas: Cloud Solutions, Container Technology, Servers, Storage, Networking, Service Management, Project Management, Consulting Methods
• Basic understanding of automation and tool-supported working methods in the cloud environment or willingness to systematically acquire them
• High willingness to learn and motivation for professional and methodological development
• Excellent communication skills in technical and non-technical environments, as well as in interpersonal interactions, for example, in building business relationships with customers
• Willingness to travel
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German

Responsibilities

• Work on infrastructure projects with customers from Europe
• Participate in the design and coordination of engagement goals and framework agreements
• Develop plans and support Senior Cloud Architects in project developments and consulting matters
• Contribute to the conception, implementation, and further development of cloud architectures using standardized and automated approaches (e.g., Infrastructure as Code)
• Support the further development of reusable architecture and cloud components to increase efficiency in projects
• Support consultants and project managers with basic infrastructure analyses, risk analyses, technical knowledge, and other consulting topics
• Organize project tasks and actions (project planning, risk logs, task logs)
• Moderate project meetings
• Collaborate closely with other teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet customer requirements
