Job summary

As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you support experienced engineers in building, managing, and improving secure, reliable, and scalable cloud environments. You work with Azure and AWS cloud resources, Terraform-based infrastructure automation, Kubernetes container deployments, and Git and CI/CD practices while helping automate recurring tasks and improve technical processes.

• HBO-level education or equivalent in ICT, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Interest in cloud engineering, IT infrastructure, or DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Interest in infrastructure and process automation.
• Some knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, or Python through study, internships, or personal projects.
• Understanding of networking, servers, and cloud infrastructure fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Git or willingness to learn it.
• Interest in CI/CD and modern development processes.
• Collaborative approach and openness to feedback.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the building, management, and improvement of cloud environments.
• Help set up and manage cloud resources, including virtual environments, storage, databases, and networking components.
• Assist with automating and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Learn to deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes container environments.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring tasks and improve maintainability.
• Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software and infrastructure deployments.
