Job summary
Support the deployment, operation, and extension of a cloud-native media asset management platform used to manage and distribute large-scale video. The role involves onboarding content partners, configuring ingest pipelines and integrations, maintaining Terraform infrastructure and CI/CD workflows, automating customer-specific processes, troubleshooting incidents, and migrating media archives across AWS and Azure environments. Work with technologies including Python, PowerShell, SQL, REST APIs, and XSLT.

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure and interest in learning the other
- Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python and willingness to learn both
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB
- Experience using Git, branching, and pull request review
- Comfort with XML, JSON, and REST APIs
- Analytical troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem solving
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to organise multiple tasks and communicate progress
- Preferred: Terraform, CI/CD, XSLT or XPath, Windows Server, IIS, Linux, cloud services, networking, containers, Apache, monitoring, or log analysis
- Interest in video and media technology
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain platform installations across cloud environments
- Onboard content partners by configuring ingest pipelines and testing XSLT metadata mappings
- Integrate customer platforms with Reuters Connect
- Maintain Terraform infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for serverless ingest functions
- Build automation, event-driven ingest pipelines, API integrations, and scripts
- Investigate and resolve ingest failures and platform incidents using logs, metrics, and API responses
- Plan and execute media archive and metadata migrations
- Document systems, processes, and findings
- Coordinate requests and progress with content partner managers and internal stakeholders
