Job summary
The Junior DevOps Engineer role is centered on managing and optimizing a SaaS platform to ensure system availability and reliability. Qualifications
- A strong foundation in DevOps practices and tools
- A solid understanding of Terraform
- Eager to learn and pickup new skills quickly and independently
- Familiarity with Python/Django deployments and troubleshooting
- An understanding of Postgres/RDS database operations
- Confident to ask for help when stuck
- Good technical background and mindset
- Diligent at tasks and keeping to deadlines for tickets
Responsibilities
- Operating production AWS workloads
- Provision, upgrade and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins / GitHub Actions
- Support the Development and AI Engineering Teams
- Bring observability through dashboards, alerting and log aggregation
- Run incident analysis and post mortems
- Environment management: ephemeral environments, dev/staging/prod
