Job summary
Xelix is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize their SaaS platform, ensuring system reliability and supporting in-house developers.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in DevOps practices and tools
- Eager to learn and pick up new skills quickly
- Familiarity with Python/Django deployments and troubleshooting
- Understanding of Postgres/RDS database operations
- Confident in seeking help when needed
- Good technical background and mindset
- Diligent in task completion and meeting deadlines
Responsibilities
- Operate production AWS workloads
- Provision, upgrade and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins and Github Actions
- Support Development and AI Engineering Teams
- Provide observability through dashboards, alerting and log aggregation
- Conduct incident analysis and post mortems
- Manage environments: ephemeral, dev, staging, prod
