Junior DevSecOps Consultant (all genders)

Job summary

As a DevSecOps Consultant, you will advise clients on integrating security requirements into their DevOps workflows, ensuring security is considered from the start.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a degree in (business) informatics
• Initial professional experience in operating IT landscapes
• Knowledge in Linux and IT networks, container environments and Docker, DevSecOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines, automation of IT infrastructures, encryption methods and TLS certificates, relational and NoSQL databases, central system logging and monitoring, programming or scripting languages, preferably Python
• High comprehension and analytical thinking
• Confident demeanor and good communication and presentation skills
• Customer and service orientation as well as teamwork skills
• Solution-oriented, systematic, structured working style
• Understanding of working according to agile methods and processes is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills

Responsibilities

• Technical consulting for clients on IT security projects in the DevSecOps environment
• Planning, implementation, configuration, and migration of leading cloud-native and cyber security solutions
• Ensuring and maintaining operations of a dedicated IT system landscape for a Cyber Defense Center
• Taking on on-call duties outside regular working hours
• Collaboration with experienced colleagues on modern IT concepts
• Supporting project management with technical expertise
