The Junior Infrastructure Engineer role focuses on supporting the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and administration of IT infrastructure, specifically within a Microsoft environment. Qualifications
- Experience in IT support, systems administration or infrastructure
- Experience troubleshooting in a Microsoft environment
- Strong understanding of customer service and IT support principles
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd Line Infrastructure Support across core systems, cloud services, networks and servers
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests
- Support the Service Desk as an escalation point for complex issues
- Assist with root cause analysis and long-term solutions
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure systems for performance and security
- Support management of Microsoft 365, Azure and cloud technologies
- Assist with user, device and security administration
- Support infrastructure projects, deployments, and technology rollouts
