Job summary
The Junior Infrastructure Engineer supports the operation, maintenance, and improvement of IT infrastructure, working with service desk, network, and technology colleagues to keep services reliable. The role provides 2nd/3rd line escalation support, maintains Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Citrix environments, and contributes to infrastructure projects, upgrades, service improvements, and technical documentation.

Qualifications
- Experience in 1st or 2nd line IT support, service desk, or desktop support.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure services.
- Experience troubleshooting desktop, server, and hardware issues.
- Understanding of WAN, LAN, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Citrix environments and endpoint management tools.
- Relevant Microsoft certification, ITIL Foundation qualification, or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd/3rd line service desk support and escalate technical issues.
- Support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Citrix environments.
- Assist with infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and service improvements.
- Maintain IT systems, software deployments, and operational standards.
- Work with third-party technology suppliers and service providers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and user guidance.
