Job summary

The Cloud Native Platform Engineer role is centered on automating operations and enhancing deployment processes within cloud environments. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud engineering or platform engineering
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and distributed systems
• Strong expertise in Azure (AKS) and multi-cloud architectures
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like ArgoCD and Terraform
• Operational experience with observability tools like Dynatrace and Grafana
• Experience influencing platform/product roadmaps
• Solid background in cloud native engineering and security
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platforms
• Manage multi-cluster and multi-region AKS deployments
• Own platform lifecycle management including upgrades and patching
• Define and enforce standardized AKS architecture patterns
• Partner with application teams to modernize workloads
• Enable scalable deployments using microservices and API-first patterns
• Implement GitOps-based deployment models with ArgoCD
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform
• Design and maintain observability frameworks with Prometheus and Grafana
• Drive incident management and continuous reliability improvements
• Implement secure AKS architectures and enforce container security
• Lead troubleshooting across Kubernetes and Azure infrastructure
