Job summary
Ordix AG is seeking a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer to support and advise clients on building and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines for container-based architectures. The role involves automating infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code tools, collaborating with software development teams on application containerization, and implementing technical security standards in containerized environments. The engineer will also be responsible for developing automation scripts, creating technical documentation, and sharing knowledge with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications
- Profound experience with container technologies and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher).
- Practical experience in building and operating complex CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code technologies like Terraform, OpenTofu, or Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and knowledge expansion.
- Good university degree in Computer Science or comparable completed education desirable.
- Certifications from major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) advantageous.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in German (written and spoken) and good English skills.
Responsibilities
- Support and advise clients on building and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines for container-based architectures.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code tools in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Collaborate with software development teams on application containerization and contribute expertise to the development process.
- Advise, train, and support clients in introducing and developing DevOps processes, tools, and methods.
- Develop automation scripts in Go, Python, or Bash to optimize technical processes.
- Implement technical security standards in containerized environments and ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, define, and establish DevOps best practices.
- Share knowledge with colleagues, students, and clients in projects.
- Share knowledge through the ORDIX® Blog, as a speaker in seminars, or at conferences.
