Job summary
The vKS Platform Engineering team is seeking a vKS Application Engineer to drive the adoption of VMware Kubernetes Service (vKS) on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). This role involves designing solutions, running proof-of-concepts, and guiding customers on Kubernetes adoption.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of VMware products and Kubernetes platforms
- Success working with enterprise customers
- Strong collaboration skills
- Thought leadership experience
- Specialization in Telco, FSI and LATAM
- Fluent in German and English
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers
- Collaborate closely with field account teams
- Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts
- Partner with sales to develop customer proposals
- Provide guidance on Kubernetes adoption
- Build and share reference architectures
- Deliver technical presentations
- Stay current on industry trends
- Collaborate with product management and engineering
