Job summary

Build and operate a managed Kubernetes platform that transforms fleets of bare-metal compute into dedicated, isolated clusters for AI training and inference. Own platform components from design through production, including Kubernetes APIs, controllers, operators, and automation, while improving reliability, observability, and performance and troubleshooting across application, Kubernetes, networking, and compute layers.

• Software engineering experience with production systems
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience with controllers or operators, CRDs, cluster lifecycle, scheduling, and networking
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals
• Comfort with code review, automated testing, CI/CD, and observability

Responsibilities

• Build APIs, controllers, operators, and automation to extend Kubernetes
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and performance
• Diagnose production issues across application, Kubernetes, networking, and compute layers
• Implement correct handling of retries, failures, concurrency, and reconciliation
• Collaborate with infrastructure, inference, networking, and security teams on design decisions
