Job summary

The Kubernetes SME - Infrastructure and DevOps Developer role involves managing Linux systems and Kubernetes architecture to ensure optimal performance and security. Key responsibilities include user and group management, server administration, and utilizing tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Grafana for container orchestration and monitoring, while adhering to security best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture
• Basic understanding of Apache ActiveMQ and Kafka
• Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP
• Experience with operating systems patching
• Basic understanding of Zero Trust cybersecurity principles

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux operating system administration
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts
• Manage user permissions and group memberships
• Oversee server administration for performance and security
• Familiarity with key Kubernetes objects
• Manage containers with Docker and Kubernetes
• Integrate with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders
• Triage and route calls/tickets to appropriate resources
