Job summary

The L2 Infrastructure Engineer provides remote monitoring and level 2 support for core systems and technologies, ensuring high-quality customer service for external client infrastructure. Key responsibilities include managing Azure and VMware environments, troubleshooting Active Directory and O365 issues, and administering firewalls and Citrix support. The role demands strong problem-solving skills and experience with tools like SCCM, NetScaler, and Commvault.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Second Line Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of O365, Exchange, Azure, Active Directory.
• Experience with Certificate and License Management.
• Experience maintaining web servers and proxies.
• Experience administering Fortinet firewalls.
• Knowledge of Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Azure infrastructure and VMware.
• Troubleshoot Active Directory issues and user accounts.
• Manage O365 environment and troubleshoot related issues.
• Administer certificate lifecycle and software licenses.
• Support and maintain web servers for high availability.
• Utilize SCCM for software deployment and configuration.
• Manage NetScaler for secure application delivery.
• Provide Citrix support for virtual desktops.
• Administer Fortinet firewalls for network security.
• Implement Deep Security solutions for server protection.
• Support email security and archiving platforms.
• Administer Commvault for data backup and recovery.
• Act as point of contact within the level 2 team.
• Monitor incidents and ensure SLAs are met.
• Perform infrastructure change requests.
• Create technical guides and work instructions.
• Invoke escalation procedures as needed.
