Job summary

The infrastructure technician keeps engineering, container, virtualization, and laboratory environments available for developing, integrating, and testing mobility solutions. The role maintains Kubernetes, OpenShift, and VMware platforms; supports physical lab equipment; troubleshoots hardware, operating system, network, and container issues; and automates maintenance and provisioning. It also monitors infrastructure, improves observability, and contributes to cybersecurity hardening and patching.

• Hands-on experience with Linux administration, virtual machines, and container lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and VMware vSphere/ESXi or comparable virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, DNS, storage, and file systems.
• Proficiency in Bash or PowerShell scripting and basic configuration management using Git.
• Experience with physical engineering or integration laboratories is an advantage.
• Technical degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience in IT systems, computer science, telecommunications, or electronics.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Kubernetes, OpenShift, and VMware container and virtualization platforms.
• Support physical laboratory activities and connect equipment with virtualized systems.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents across hardware, operating systems, networks, and container environments.
• Automate maintenance, deployment, and environment provisioning using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor infrastructure health, improve observability, and support cybersecurity hardening and patching.
