Lead Application Reliability Engineer

Job summary

Innodata is seeking a hands-on Lead Application Support Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance business-critical enterprise applications on Google App Engine and microservices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Application Support or related role
• Experience supporting production applications on Google Cloud Platform
• Hands-on experience with Google App Engine
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or Go
• Knowledge of SQL and application data stores
• Understanding of GCP IAM and production operations
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling
• Experience troubleshooting complex production environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and maintenance for enterprise applications on Google App Engine
• Act as first point of contact for user-impacting incidents
• Troubleshoot application errors and performance issues
• Design and deliver feature enhancements
• Manage build, release, and deployment activities
• Perform root-cause analysis for production issues
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
• Support IAM and access controls
• Participate in change management and reviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Create and maintain technical documentation
