Job summary

The Lead Automation Developer owns the test automation strategy for the Imaging Suite portfolio, driving the shift from manual verification to automated coverage and developing automated tests.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in software development
• Experience with automated test tools, frameworks, and processes
• Experience setting technical direction across multiple teams
• Experience defining and reporting engineering quality metrics
• Experience developing software in a regulated environment
• Experience with medical imaging, PACS, or healthcare applications preferred

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the test automation strategy for the Imaging Suite portfolio
• Define the technical strategy for automation tooling
• Align product teams on common automation approaches
• Set the standard for test design and maintainability
• Establish, track, and report measurable KPIs
• Track suite health and effectiveness
• Report regression cycle duration and time-to-feedback
• Produce and maintain a portfolio-level dashboard
• Lead an AI strategy for automated test development
• Apply AI-assisted techniques to failure triage
• Establish governance for AI-assisted test development
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases
• Verify software against functional requirements
• Troubleshoot complex failures with development teams
• Track automation work assignments across team members
