Job summary

MISUMI Americas is seeking a Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer to manage AWS infrastructure for their global platform. The role involves hands-on work with CloudFormation and Node.js, leading infrastructure projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
• 5+ years of production experience writing Node.js code
• Expert-level AWS experience across multiple services
• Extensive CloudFormation experience
• Strong track record in CI/CD pipeline design
• Experience debugging systems in production
• Database performance tuning experience
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices
• Strong Linux systems experience
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation
• Own and evolve AWS environments for high availability and security
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution
• Build and maintain Node.js tools for automation and monitoring
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting across AWS environments
• Perform infrastructure upgrades while minimizing downtime
• Troubleshoot complex production issues
• Drive initiatives for performance and cost efficiency
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure and processes
