The Senior Cloud & Platform Engineering Lead will drive the design, delivery, and operational excellence of enterprise cloud platforms, focusing on AWS and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AWS services
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code
• Solid understanding of hybrid cloud architectures
• Experience applying SRE principles
• Demonstrated success leading cloud transformation and migration programmes

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and optimisation of AWS-based cloud platforms
• Drive cloud migration programmes end-to-end
• Shape and deliver platform roadmaps
• Champion automation-first engineering
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and compliance
• Enable hybrid-cloud integration
• Collaborate across architecture, security, and operations teams
• Lead and develop engineering teams
• Coordinate sprint planning, prioritisation, and delivery execution
• Represent Cloud & Platform Engineering in governance, architecture, and programme forums
• Act as the focal point for complex cloud and Kubernetes challenges
