Job summary

The Lead Cloud Integrated Infrastructure Engineer II will join Deloitte's AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms and drive innovation for clients. This role involves leading the design, build, and sustainment of cloud infrastructure for government financial business systems, overseeing Linux and AWS environments, and directing infrastructure updates and maintenance. The engineer will also lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more years of Linux administration experience.
  • Three or more years of Amazon Web Services (AWS) administration experience.
  • Experience leading infrastructure operations or engineering workstreams.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance.
  • Ability to work onsite 100% of the time in Chantilly, Virginia.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Experience with Windows administration (preferred).
  • Experience with Ansible or Python scripting (preferred).
  • Experience with Oracle administration (preferred).
  • Experience with Momentum (preferred).
  • Experience supporting security compliance requirements for government systems (preferred).
  • Experience mentoring junior team members or providing technical oversight (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, build, and sustainment of cloud infrastructure supporting financial business systems for government clients.
  • Oversee Linux-based environments and Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure to support performance, availability, and operational requirements.
  • Direct infrastructure updates, patching, and system maintenance activities in secure client environments.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis, and resolution of cloud and infrastructure production support incidents.
  • Coordinate with client, engineering, and security stakeholders to support deployments, compliance activities, and infrastructure improvements.
