Job summary
Exp*** is seeking a Lead Data Platform Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Nottingham. The role involves leading an Agile technical team, building data pipelines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps & IaC tooling
- Experience developing on Apache Spark/Hadoop
- Experience with AWS services including AWS Glue, S3, Step
- Experience building data pipelines and data lake
- Experience with full development lifecycle tools
- Experience programming in Scala or Python
- Write clean, scalable, and reusable code following SOLID principles
- Experience analyzing large data sets
- Experience with Functions, Lambdas, EventBridge, SQS, and Lake formation
- Experience with automated testing methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead an Agile technical team
