Job summary

As a Lead Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical vision and architecture of a new GCP-based Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform, leading the development of robust data architectures and integration of complex data sources. You will also guide the new Data Platform Team and support strategic decisions related to data and platform strategy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Lead Data Platform Engineer, Principal Data Engineer, or Tech Lead
• Deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Data Stack or comparable experience with AWS/Azure
• Proven success in designing and operating scalable Lakehouse architectures
• Strong knowledge in integrating hybrid data landscapes
• Experience in implementing Data-as-a-Product and self-service concepts
• Strong architectural judgment
• Experience in leading and coaching Data Engineers
• Fluent in English and proficient in German or Romanian
