Lead DevOps Engineer (12 Month FTC)

Job summary

AND Digital is seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to take technical ownership of the cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms for their Accounts platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD platforms.
• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and alerting.
• Understanding of cloud security and access management.
• Experience in platform engineering and incident management.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
• Ability to design resilient and scalable production environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps and SRE principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership of AWS cloud infrastructure for the Accounts platform.
• Design and improve scalable, resilient, secure cloud architectures.
• Lead development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.
• Define and improve monitoring, observability, and operational controls.
• Drive best practices for cloud security and infrastructure governance.
• Lead technical response to production incidents.
• Identify opportunities to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
• Develop standards and reusable tooling for engineering teams.
• Mentor DevOps and engineering team members.
• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Champion automation and continuous improvement.
