Job summary

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a central role in the technical development of a SaaS solution for Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) requirements. You will design architectures, improve platform reliability, and develop scalable Cloud-native services within a cross-functional product team. This position involves hands-on work across the entire technology stack, ensuring stable operations, high availability, and comprehensive observability of the platform.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering, including building and operating scalable SaaS solutions.
  • Experience across the entire software development lifecycle, from backend services and cloud infrastructures to production operations.
  • Experience in technical architectural design, scalability, availability, reliability, and cost optimization.
  • Deep understanding of modern cloud-native architectures, container technologies, and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on mentality and willingness to contribute to development, infrastructure, and operations topics.
  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional product teams and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to independently drive technical topics and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Good English language skills for collaboration in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assume technical responsibility for the Customer Watchlist Screening platform and actively shape its further development.
  • Conceive, develop, and operate scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-native services, working hands-on across the entire technology stack as needed.
  • Ensure stable operations, high availability, and comprehensive observability of the platform.
  • Drive continuous optimization of deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and platform efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and System Architecture to develop new features and services.
  • Support and coach other engineers, actively promoting knowledge exchange and technical excellence within the team.
  • Work with platform, cloud, and authentication teams, utilizing shared services and scalable infrastructure for solutions.
