Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to support low-latency trading infrastructure and business-critical financial systems. This hands-on role involves designing, automating, and supporting highly available platforms while collaborating with various teams to enhance reliability, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical lead experience.
• Agile delivery experience including planning and prioritization.
• Experience using Jira or similar tools.
• Strong communication skills to drive issues to resolution.
• Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Scripting/programming in Python, Bash, or similar.
• CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins or GitLab.
• Containerization and artifact publishing experience.
• Understanding of networking and traffic flow across distributed systems.
• Knowledge of high availability and resiliency considerations.
• Experience supporting low-latency, high-availability platforms.
• Monitoring and observability experience with tools like Splunk.
• Cross-functional collaboration with various teams.
• Hands-on AWS and hybrid cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of scalable, secure, and highly available trading infrastructure.
• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and guidance to engineers.
• Build and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for Java and Python applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational workflows.
• Support production systems focusing on high availability and disaster recovery.
• Containerize applications and support deployments using container orchestration platforms.
• Use infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure issues.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools for development and operational workflows.
• Identify and implement AI-enabled operational capabilities.
• Lead Agile delivery practices using Jira.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders on support issues.
• Establish best practices for CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
