  • Working knowledge of cloud + deployment environments and container-based delivery patterns in CI/CD contexts.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to influence engineering, security, and operations stakeholders.
  • AI experience in software delivery contexts (e.g., AI-assisted development workflows, AI-enabled automation, or practical exposure to tools such as AI coding assistants), with a focus on safe usage and guardrail

Responsibilities

  • Own CI/CD pipelines from build test artifact promotion deploy using enterprise CI/CD tooling and pipeline-as-code patterns; ensure repeatability and operational readiness.
  • Build and maintain standard pipeline templates / shared workflows that reduce setup per team and enable self-service onboarding at scale.
  • Define and enforce branch protections, environment controls, approvals, rollout/rollback patterns, and consistent release practices aligned with reliability and release management needs.
  • Implement automated quality gates (tests, code quality checks, security scans) directly in pipelines to shift-left and reduce risk.
  • Leverage security capabilities and partner with security stakeholders to improve remediation speed and governance via pipeline enforcement.
  • Drive “audit-ready by design” delivery with automated evidence and reduced manual gates where appropriate.
  • Establish pipeline observability and platform health monitoring; use delivery metrics to guide improvements and communicate outcomes.
  • Identify bottlenecks and reduce friction across build/test/deploy workflows; drive continuous improvement via feedback loops and standard upgrades.
  • Provide technical direction across teams through architecture reviews, code reviews, pairing/mentorship, and documentation—raising the bar on engineering practices.
  • Run office hours / enablement sessions and create clear guidance that helps teams adopt standard pipelines and troubleshoot effectively.
