Job summary
Lead the design and operation of AWS infrastructure for digital products built with TypeScript, Node.js, and Python. Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, manage secure, monitored, cost-effective environments as code, and guide engineers while explaining technical decisions to client stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Hands-on production experience with AWS
- Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Experience with containers and orchestration, such as Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes
- Experience leading DevOps work or guiding engineers
- Confidence communicating with clients and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design and operate AWS infrastructure for products built with TypeScript, Node.js, and Python
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for frequent, safe releases
- Manage infrastructure as code and maintain secure, monitored, cost-effective environments
- Explain technical decisions to client stakeholders
- Guide engineers on DevOps practices
