Job summary
This DevOps engineering role improves software delivery and developer productivity for connected energy products spanning firmware, embedded software, backend services, and engineering tools. Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments, maintaining cloud and Infrastructure as Code platforms, supporting releases and observability, and embedding security and compliance practices across the software development lifecycle. The position collaborates closely with firmware, software, and quality teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build Engineering, Release Engineering, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- At least 4 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- At least 4 years of experience with containerization and automated build/test environments
- At least 4 years of scripting and automation experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Preferred experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and enterprise security practices
- Preferred experience with embedded software, firmware, IoT, automated testing, cloud-native architectures, and compliance-driven development
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for firmware, embedded software, backend services, and engineering tools
- Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions to improve engineering efficiency
- Build and maintain development platforms and automated build and test environments
- Enhance developer experience with self-service tools and automation frameworks
- Support release management, artifact management, deployment automation, and environment management
- Implement monitoring, observability, and operational excellence practices
- Maintain secure, compliant development, build, and release processes
- Integrate automated test execution with quality engineering processes
- Promote DevOps and DevSecOps practices
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and automation issues
- Partner with firmware, software, and quality engineering teams
