Job summary

The Lead DevOps Engineer is tasked with developing and optimizing the DevOps strategy, standards, and processes within product development. This role involves enhancing CI/CD automation, managing Kubernetes deployments, and collaborating with teams on IT security and cloud infrastructure, utilizing technologies such as GitLab, Linux, and Azure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DevOps
• Experience in a responsible or comparable role
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD (GitLab), Kubernetes, Linux, and containerization
• Experience with programming and scripting languages, especially Python or Bash
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure
• Strong communication and consulting skills
• Structured, independent, and goal-oriented work style
• Very good German and good English skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize DevOps strategy, standards, and processes
• Enhance build and release automation using CI/CD
• Manage containerization and microservices deployment with Kubernetes
• Support software architects and developers in technical implementation
